Hearthstone Asset Management’s residential investment process has been constructed to ensure the best available market information combined with the knowledge of experts in the field. For example, we use bespoke data from LSL Acadata, a leading housing research consultancy. Also, through our fund partners we have access to the trends in rental performance of over 20,000 managed residential properties as well as “grass roots” information from over 500 estate agency branches through our corporate stakeholder Connells, a subsidiary of Skipton Building Society.
This quantitative data is carefully analysed through an informed, qualitative assessment process in order to select appropriate locations within each region of the UK for the Fund to invest.
Once the Fund is invested, our team believes that regular review and careful management of outgoings and voids is key to maintaining strong residential performance over the long-term.
